As an alternative to flat Brisket our flat Silverside with excellent marbling is perfect for slow roasting and BBQ/smoking. The fat in our Silverside plays a crucial role in flavour and moisture retention during cooking.

Cooking Instructions

Season and fry/brown the meat in a pan over a high heat in some oil. Place in a casserole dish. Add your other ingredients to the dish and soften, add the stock. Cover and place in the oven or slow cooker for 3-4 hours depending on the recipe, or 60 mins per 500g plus 30 mins.
Alternatively, smoke on the BBQ low and slow for hours.
